Located in the Coachella Valley, the museum has met great success as a cultural and educational attraction for the desert communities. Masterplanned on six acres, the original facility designed by MGA has exhibit, performance, and administrative spaces. The 2007 expansion includes additional galleries, special event rooms, and outdoor recreation space.
