Alan Greenberger directed many of the firm’s architectural, urban design and planning projects. A cum laude graduate in architecture from Rensselaer, Alan joined the firm in 1974. He went on to become Deputy Mayor for Economic Development for the City of Philadelphia, and today is a Distinguished Teaching Professor at Drexel University.

Mary Keefe directed the firm’s strategic planning, development and engagement initiatives since joining the firm in 1991. Her interests included social capital and intersection of architects, designers, and the broader world. Today she is an active member of the alumni community of the University of Pennsylvania, where she serves as a board leader of the Wharton Club.

Bob Shuman focused on the documentation and delivery of our projects. Our success today is in gratitude to several esteemed colleagues who directed our firm from this transitional moment.

Their collective character, values, skill, and accomplishments are reflected in the succeeding leadership, who established MGA Partners in 1990 with a fresh portfolio of ideas and practice.
