Center for Biomedical
and Brain Imaging

A two-story addition expands the program functions of the original Life Sciences Research Center to include two MRI units and related support spaces. By integrating the needs of many academic departments across campus, the new Center for Biomedical and Brain Imaging creates a locus of research and innovation on campus, allowing the University of Delaware to compete with similar institutions regionally and nationally.

The new addition accommodates technically rigorous testing and examination rooms, fostering collaboration among an array of departments, including Psychology, Kinesiology and Applied Physiology, Physical Therapy, Biological Sciences, Animal and Food Sciences, Chemistry and Biochemistry, Mechanical Engineering, Physics and Astronomy, Nursing, Medical Laboratory Sciences, Applied Economics and Statistics, and others.
